If you are a regular magazine reader then you will will be expecting a variety of gifts which appear attached to the magazine throughout the year. I would like other customers to be aware that a subscription will not include any of the cover gifts that you get when you buy a copy in a shop. This is not made clear when you subscribe, and for me, was a disappointment. Since some issues are better than others, I would rather flick through and choose a magazine that is read-worthy or has some nice gift, or buy a different magazine. I expect I am not alone in this!

Also the marketing to tempt you to subscribe often offers an expensive cosmetic which will be available just to the first subscribers. Bear in mind that this is unlikely to be you, so actually all you will get is the magazine. If you are a real Marie Claire fan then maybe that’s enough for you.
